Short Short Story Week 2

  1. I see storm clouds drawing near the village. I try to warn the villagers but I'm not moving. Suddenly lightning struck one house then another. I yell for help but there was no answer. Tears flood down my face, suddenly the storm clouds disappear with the wind....that brought them...

  2. I'm breathless. It was worth the huge walk. The village down there as well as the kingdom. The beautiful mountains. The wind blows the clouds away making it a cloudless day. I see a kereru dancing with the wind and a kiwi scatters past. Can you guess were I am.

  3. WARNING! I just reached the end of the path, first aid kit in hand along with a supply of food. The radio anouncment was flashing in my mind, "Hurricane starting in ten minites!" I'm the only surviver.The rest are surronded in a nightmar!

  4. I run outside I see a path I run up it I see an ancient town with thunder clouds towering over the town.
    I dash down the path to tell my dad what I have seen I see him sleeping or is he really sleeping? Everyone was hit by lightning.

  5. I was walking in Smallville like any other day but then I saw grey clouds they were closing up on me I felt like I was TRAPPED! I had nothing to do but lay there and cry I felt alone I was there by myself.

    Cabnim City In Danger!
    Clouds creep over the city causing us to tremble fearfully. Being in a high place is hazardous when it comes to electrical storms and we only have one small path to evacuate. We wouldn't all escape in time and if we did all Cabnim would have to survive is wilderness...

  7. A day of remembering is a day of a tale, a tale of wilderness and also a hidden door. I was walking through mountains paths as I spot a castle and a storm. I retire to the castle wondering if I can find the door to the town above...

  11. As the clouds rolled in I try to warn the village below. If another storm came as big as the last all the million dollar mansions would go tumbling down the mountain. If the clouds came any quicker they will not have time to evacuate on such a small path.

  12. Ive traveled many places but nothing compares to this place. The grass is pure green the trees, all in the right place. Nothing seems to be wrong with this place. There are high mountains and low mountains. Thank you God for a wonderful place to go.

  13. I climbed the hill one last time , but all I can see is dark grey clouds. I can see a small town with lots of civilians. I stumble into a gorse bush and get badly hurt. Someone help me.

  14. I see clouds, dark clouds, I yell for someone, anoyone then i hear a slight voice in the distance. I start to yell back but then, BOOM! , no answer. I cry franticily for help while yelling but theres no answer again, i lay down moveless, suddenly i feel a slight touch, i smile....

  15. They hated me, I was a wreck tattered clothes and messed up hair. The village rulers hated me
    Dumped me half dead on the road. I got up and moved on they had let me here to survive in the storm, They had left me here, to die!

  16. I woke up in a weird place all I could remember was walking and BOOM! Everything went black.I went out the door and ran down the path. Would I find home? I could hear people shouting, I could see the clouds so I better hurry. Good bye town.

  21. The Cliff is impossibly high, a path twists around its body right down to the valley below, home to a village. The Cliff is clothed by dozens of vibrant plants,although the village has such an astonishing view,grey clouds are stretching rapidly over the valley, a storm is coming.

  31. Sprinting through the mountains, I try to get away. Then a magnificent village appears. I spot my persuer behind me; his face the epitome of furiosity. He isn't going to stop now. I scramble up a cliff. The rocks set loose by my feet smother my opponent.

  33. "Ahhhhhh!" The villagers cried. There were big storm clouds overhead. "Get in your houses" a man shouted. So everyone ran into their houses and turned on the fire. People thought: How did this happen? First it was a nice day and then BOOM storm clouds went over the village!

    "A STORM!!!!!! Get into your houses" yelled a man. All the kids are scared. All the mum's hugged their kids so so tight. All their homes got stuck by lightning. Everyone screamed sooooo loudly "AHHHHHHHH" A baby got struck by lightning. "Oh NO" said the family "IT'S SO BAD".

    I stumble along the unfamiliar track, away from the sprawling concrete jungle that is, was, my home. The people I thought loved me, would never betray me, are now forced to hunt the criminal that the council believes I am. Stopping and spotting the houses above me, I smile. Hope.

  44. My legs ached after the gruelling climb to the hospitable village. It was safe haven for people like me whose former villages were savaged by war. The homes were beautiful with lovely big gardens with children screeching with laughter in them. Then I came to my house it was amazing.

  57. Finally I reached the town of Albany. I was glad to be there after going hard out Bear Grylls style for days in the forest. I found a hotel and stayed there for a few nights while the storm cleared up. Then I left down the small path back home.

  60. 10 years ago a disasturous storm came and it distroyed our humble settlement. It wiped out the countrie side and killed many of the people that lived here. I thought it would never happen again, but I was wrong.

  64. "Thud, thud, thud." I arised thinking it was an ordinary day when I heard banging on my window, locals were telling me to get out. Emotions and perculiar feeling were approacing my head as I couldn't figure out why. Then I realised our town had been destroyed, everything had been snatched.

  67. I had spent 4 demanding days staggering through undulating hills and I was almost there. My body was the epitome of fatigue and I was uncertain I would reach my destination. Abruptly I heard a rumbling sound coming from behind the hills. Suddenly an angry, ominous looking cloud shadowed the sky. A storm was coming.....

    The town was a ticking time bomb which would soon be ready to erupt.
    Maybe 2012 really is the year when the world ends?

  75. I walk the muddy track. My city looks amazing from up here. Then I see Magic Castle. Rain, thunder and lightning strike, this is the worst that can happen in Newland. I ran for help and to alert everyone, there was nothing left, everyone’s survival is a priority to me.

    Walking down the road I saw big roads in the distance. They came closer very fast. Quickly I ran back to our village to warn the people. The clouds looked threateningly big. Our houses were standing on the top f the mountain so we had to close all the windows and doors.
